The Shangpa Kagyu
Three-Year Retreat at Sonada Monastery started in October of 2009 with 20
Monks. We are writing to inform you that many of the Monks currently in Retreat
do not have the means of obtaining the necessary funds to pay for medicine,
health care and other personal needs. To sponsor the Monks engaged in Retreat
is a vast source of Merit and Blessings.
The DKCT was founded by
the previous H.E. Kabje Kalu Rinpoche before his passing in 1989 in order to
provide support for his Monks and Lamas. Please be advised that the only
official way to make donations to Support the Monasteries of H. E. Kabje Kalu
Rinpoche is through the Droden Kunchyab Charitable Trust and that any other
solicitations are not sanctioned.
