The His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche comes out of first
Traditional Three Year Shangpa Kagyu Retreat

We are very please to announce that the His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche will be coming out of Retreat on September 9, of this year. The His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche has completed his first Shangpa Kagyu Traditional Three Year Retreat, under the the guidence of the Venerable Bokar Rinpoche and the Venerable Khenpo Lodro Donyo Rinpoche, in the Retreat Center at Bokar Monastery. Coming out ceremonies will be held at Bokar Monastery in Merik.
The His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche will remain at Bokar Monastery through September 15. Please contact Bokar Monastery for attendance information,

His Eminence Kalu Rinpoche will then travel to his Monastic Seat in Sonada, for 3 days arriving on the 16th, and attending his Birthday celebration on September 17. a short day visit to Salugura to visit on September 19.

to receive empowerments and continue with his studies.
